Teachers

Teacher of the group of 6-9 years
Marina Liusina
Teacher of fine and decorative and applied arts. Graphic designer.
She worked as a teacher in a gymnasium for several years. She repeatedly participated in international and all-Ukrainian exhibitions. She exhibited her works in the Kharkiv Art Museum. While teaching at the gymnasium, my students participated in international exhibitions and art galleries and won prizes. I also volunteer. I study child psychology and art therapy on my own to help children and adults get to know themselves and master their emotions. I like to organize children's parties.
For me, the most important thing is that the educational process should not be restrictive for children, but should be interesting and entertaining.

Teacher of junior group 3-5
Olga Artemchuk
I am a lawyer specializing in family and civil law, a coach, mediator, and art therapist working with children and families. I have experience in the educational field and in supporting children throughout their learning and personal development processes.
In my practice, I place special emphasis on a child’s creative self-expression through art therapy methods and drawing. I use drawing as a gentle and safe tool to help children explore their inner world, develop imagination, emotional resilience, and self-confidence. Through the creative process, children learn to better understand their feelings, express their individuality, and freely share their thoughts.
I support parents in identifying their child’s strengths and helps them choose an appropriate educational path, taking into account the child’s abilities, interests, and temperament. My mission is to create a space where a child feels heard, valued, and capable of their full potential.

Teacher of junior group 3-5
Kristina Hakman
Philologist. I worked as a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature at the gymnasium in my native village in Ukraine. In addition to that, I work as a private tutor, preparing graduating students for the NMT (National Multi-Subject Test).
For me, it is important that children enjoy learning and study in a light and comfortable atmosphere. My main goal is to foster a love for the native language and to make its study engaging and meaningful for modern children.

Teacher of the group of 6-9 years
Lesia Shelest
I come from a family of teachers who taught mathematics, history, and English. By profession, I am a journalist. For more than twenty years, I worked in Ukraine in various media outlets, including as the head of a local television and radio company in the Trostianets community in the Sumy region, just 30 km from the Russian border. I am the editor and compiler of the children’s poetry book “I Am Your Cell, Ukraine” (2016, Kyiv).
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, I was forced to relocate to the Netherlands with my two children. I joined the volunteer work of the Ukrainian Club in Zaandam. I write articles for the international Ukrainian publication “Nezalezhnist” (The Netherlands) and create in-depth, long-form interviews with military personnel and artists.
On Saturdays, I teach at the Ukrainian school “Vyshyvanka.”
To be able to professionally teach children their native language, I enrolled at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. This year, I am completing my studies and will receive a Master’s degree in Philology, specializing in Ukrainian Language and Literature. I am currently working on the manuscript of a novel about a fallen Hero of Ukraine.
I have raised two children who are highly proficient in two foreign languages and achieve excellent academic results. I am confident that I can pass on to young Ukrainians not only knowledge of history and culture, but also a deep love for their native land.
